NAVIGATION HOME SERVICES HAPPY CLIENTS THEORY < BLOG	After years in the graphics and printing industries, I decided to conduct a little experiment to test three theories I'd developed-- THEORY 1: It is not necessary to be a jerk to run a successful business. THEORY 2: It is not necessary to charge people an arm and a leg to stay in business. THEORY 3: You do not have to hold people's artwork hostage to keep them coming back for more. I developed these theories while watching my former employers charge people for terrible clipart monstrosities, and then watching them make up excuses for why the clients couldn't keep their own files. It just never made sense to me; if you paid for the art, shouldn't you be able to keep the files? So I started evil eye candy to see if I could apply my theories to real life. Each job is hand-drawn or created to match your exact specifications. All of our services are priced to make custom art affordable and accessible to more people. And no job is complete until there's a satisfied customer with a CD full of vector files of their artwork in their hands. I realize that this is a bit of a gamble. I've yet to find a shop or studio out there that's sucessfully applied all of these theories, but I'm willing to risk it all in the name of science and good design.
